There are some really good ideas out there on how to make money. The web has opened up a vast business world that nearly anybody can access. Real estate investment has made more millionaires than any other business. There a vast array of tradesmen that create their own handy man services, painting, house cleaning, and many more. The right idea for a business is out there. Once you find that right idea than it is just a matter of perseverance.

Smarts isn’t everything. The main thing is that you get the right idea. You can’t build a good business without starting right at the bottom. There are a vast array of opportunities in business that other people have made it in. Find one that suits your personality and that you know you will want to work hard at. Look at ebay for instance. If you wanted to start an ebay business then you may spend most of your time posting pictures and descriptions of items you are selling, answering emails, and shipping out products. Well that’s until you build an infrastructure of employees. Is that what you want to be doing with your time?

What about real estate opportunities? Many people who want to invest, invest in real estate. It makes sense. The infrastructure is already there. You don’t have to create it, you just have to find it. There are hundreds of thousands of realtors out there and nearly all of them have some sort of investment experience. All you have to do is find an honest and experienced realtor and he or she will point you in the right direction to investing. It is just a matter of making the right decision. If you are looking to invest in commercial than you will have to dig a little deeper. Find a good commercial broker who isn’t trying to sale only his own property. Again it is crucial that they are honest and experienced.

Well what about marketing on the web? I have a real estate company and I wanted to be search engine optimized to drive the traffic to my site. Well with the recent down trends in the real estate market I found my budget for web design gone. I teamed up with a SEO expert who helped get a real estate site up and to page 1 of the search engines. It wasn’t easy but we already get over 2000 page views a month with spending only a couple hundred dollars total. Really I need to invest more money in the site, but it is a start. The normal cost of search engine optimization can reach into the 10’s of thousands, but instead I partnered with the expert and we will split the profits 50/50. You may say that 50/50 is a big split, but now I’ve learned what it takes to search engine optimize and I have started a website for my wife’s company. Her website is already on page 1 of google. It’s a good way to get started, just make sure you partner with the right person who knows what they are doing.

The opportunities are out there, you just have to work at it consistently to make it work
